Despite being the number one contender to the WBO world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, world boxers do not believe Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk is prepared to face the champion.
Interim WBC champion Dillian White is very skeptical about the Usyk-Joshua fight. In his opinion, the Crimean is not in the right shape to overcome Joshua. Earlier we wrote about how you can win a fight by being knocked out.
White has been quoted to say “It’s a dead fight. Usyk hasn’t looked good. Who has he fought at heavyweight? Chazz Witherspoon, Derek Chisora. He looked terrible in the fights. He has no punch power.”
The reigning WBO champion Joshua also holds the titles of WBA and IBF.
Joshua’s compatriot Derek Chisora is confident of an Usyk defeat in the event the match pushes through. Logan Paul is also confident in his victory, who should go against Floyd on June 6.
Chisora believes that both of them will not miss this chance. “I think the fight will take place. Usyk will not box with Joshua only if he gets sick with the coronavirus. He has been waiting for this fight for three years. Why stop? What is Joshua for this fight? If you want to be the number one pound-for-pound, you will box with everyone. Joshua will fight Usyk and he will knock him out, but it will be a long night for Anthony. ”
After such comments, all words are superfluous …
To date, the purse, venue and date of the fight have not been determined. However, both fighters stated that August 28 is the most suitable day for the fight.
Well, we are looking forward to the fight and wish good luck to both sides! May the strongest win!
